Romany Explorer HV

The ROMANY EXPLORER HV (high volume) has been designed to facilitate more leg room for the kayaker, by increasing the volume in the cockpit area and modifying the deck mold in the area of the thigh grips (see image below). We have managed to provide an extra 1.5" of extra height between the top of the seat and the underside of the deck. The hull has not been altered.

Deck: 2.5 oz C.S mat plus foredeck rescue patch of extra 1.5 oz mat.
Hull: 2.5 oz C.S mat plus 8 oz cloth. 2 inch keel strip. Double thickness reinforced bow and stern.
Inside seam: 2 inch diolen plus 3 inch glass cloth.
Outside seam: 1 inch glass cloth.
